Professor of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Professor Qibin Liu (Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, CAS) obtained his BEng and MEng on engineering thermophysics from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2002 and 2005, respectively, and his PhD on engineering thermophysics from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2008. He joined the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics (IET), CAS, where he currently serves as a Professor with a joint appointment at UCAS., His research interests include multi-energies hybrid system, solar fuel, distributed energy system, etc. Prof. Liu has presided several national-level research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Outstanding Youth Fund. He has published over 200 papers and held more than 50 invented patents. He also serves as several editors or editorial board members of international Journals, such as subject editor of Energy-the International Journal, editorial board members of Carbon Neutrality and Journal of Thermal Science.
