Leader of Innovation at ON Power, leads the development of Glóð - Innovation Hub within the company's Geothermal Park.
Dr. Ingunn Gunnarsdóttir is the Leader of Innovation at ON Power, where she leads the development of Glóð - Innovation Hub within the company's Geothermal Park. She has extensive experience in policy and analysis in energy and environmental matters, including as a specialist in Business Analysis and Market Development at Landsvirkjun and in waste issues at the Environment Agency. Ingunn completed her PhD in Environmental and Natural Resources Studies from the University of Iceland, where she researched a sustainable energy future with an emphasis on sustainability indicators and stakeholder engagement. She also holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a BA in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Furman University.
